2010 Cabernet Sauvignon

Cassis, cherries, vanilla and tobacco on the nose. All these flavours and more display themselves on the palate which has a great velvety texture and long finish with fine powdery tannins and a structure that will see this wine well into the future. Built for the long haul, if you can resist. 

Winemaking Notes:

Medium to full bodied. Maceration for 25 days. Pigeage three times daily. 100% French barriques, 25% new. 5% Merlot in the blend. Drinking window of now to 20 years plus.
